My 10th Week in Droid Pics!

Sunday
We drove through Sequoia National Park and headed to Yosemite.
We saw A LOT of big trees!

Taking a quick walk around the lodge at Yosemite.

JD loves the ergo!  Or maybe he just loves being close to his daddy.
Monday
Took the most gorgeous drive from Yosemite to San Francisco.  It was unreal!  I was working the video camera and the regular camera, so unfortunately I didn't get as many pics on my phone as I would have liked.

Tuesday
Spent the morning at the Exploratorium. (It would take days to see everything!)  It was raining in San Fran, so we did a little shopping, eating, and played in the pool at the hotel a bit before calling it an early night.

My son loves museum exhibits where he can make a lot of noise.

Hubby and I got fancy new running shoes.

Wednesday
Woke up super early and headed home  :(

O slept for most of both flights.  We were lucky that the flights weren't full, so we could get him his own seat!
Although he didn't nap, JD was remarkably good on the plane.

Thursday
Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Even though he will be 5 months next week, O had his 4 month well visit today.  After, we avoided unpacking and brought out all our outside toys!

This was taken AFTER his shot.  The kid really is always this happy!
We had to pry JD away from the toys.
The playhouse is finally out of my living room and outside where it belongs!  Well- not really where it belongs.  It's in the middle of hubby's basketball court.  We haven't figured out where it's real home is yet.

Friday
I avoided unpacking again by starting a huge re-caulk the master bathroom project.

JD "helped"

After the boys were in bed, I finished it up.  Notice shiny, new, not-mildewy caulk!  Super fun Friday night, right?!  (And yes, I did it all by myself!  Hubby is not handy.  I did call him in to clean up all the yucky old caulk in the tub though.  It's only fair.)
And I rewarded myself with a Spring Blonde  :)
Saturday
My parents picked up JD for the day so I could start spring cleaning!
He can't wait for them to get here!
They brought back my totally-not-loyal dog, Ava, who has been crying by the front door since they left.  (They watched her while we were on vacation.) When I texted my mom to tell her, she responded that JD wasn't crying.  Great.  I have a dog and a son who don't miss me  :(

Amy at a good life is having a tough week.  Please click over to her blog and leave her some love!  If you took phone pics this week, you can link up with her here.

  1. Oh wow, looks like you had an amazing week. And is it sad I am more jealous of the re-caulk job than I am of anything else?

  2. You make traveling with 2 kids looks SOOOOO easy when I know in reality it is not.

Your husband has his own basketball court?! Did you buy your house from a former NBA player or something?

  3. @NatalieThanks! I can't believe it's taken me so long to get it done. We've been talking about doing it FOREVER. It was so gross.

  4. @Suzanne Thank you! We put the court in after we moved in. (I know- I could have had a pool. That's what every woman who sees it reminds me. Men seem to think it's a great idea.) Hubby is a basketball trainer and sometimes he works with clients at home. That is totally his excuse for buying a big expensive man toy that takes up half of our yard.
