My 25th Week in Droid Pics

We had an incredibly fun, busy holiday weekend, which leads to a very late post, but better late than never, right?

Sunday

Hubby's business partner invited us to stay with them for the weekend.  With a view like this, who could say no?
We started the day with a trip to the Cutchogue Diner.

They had an awesome highchair.  Too bad neither of my kids would sit in it.
JD had a blast playing on their private beach!

We met up with my mom and brother to see the local cardboard
boat races on the Peconic River.  This, and my other favorite event- lawn mower races- draw HUGE crowds.

My parents watched the boys for a bit while Hubby and I escaped to a local winery.  If I haven't convinced you to come to LI yet, let me know :)
 Monday
We took our first trip of the season to the spray park.  JD is finally old enough to go play while I sit in a beach chair.  Too bad O was Mr. Crankypants that day, so it was not as relaxing as I envisioned.

I spent the evening being crafty for JD's birthday party while watching The Bachelorette.
 Tuesday
How did that happen?
 Wednesday (AKA Haircutday)
Before

A patiently waiting O

A surprisingly still JD
No more curls!  (Don't worry- I have a couple saved.)  His hair actually looks thicker now that it's shorter, and he looks less like a baby- I'm totally torn.
 Thursday
"You're not looking at my Sophie are you?"

The sandbox was a bit hit until we found my son dumping cups from it into the pool.  Ooooops.

O and I had a great time at the NY Mom's World Baby & Toddler Event.  Here we are with our friends from Diaper Buds.
 Friday
There was SO MUCH to do to get ready for JD's birthday party, so we avoided it and met my mom at the beach.

O loves the beach more than anyone I have ever met  :)

The people next to us abandoned their giant hole & JD thought it was AMAZING.
 Saturday (AKA Thepartyistomorrowandeverythingisamessday)
Why didn't I just order a cake and ask the in-laws to bring desserts?

We also had a very special birthday party to attend.  This little darling's mom and I met in college, again in a breast feeding class, and then again at the ObGyn's office when we were both in labor.  Our babies were born the same day in the same hospital, and then we learned that we live 2 blocks apart.  We are meant to be friends forever  :)
I can't wait to share all of the pics from the rest of the weekend!  You'll have to check in for next week's Droid pics!  Did you take phone pics this week?  Visit Amy for the code, and link up!
